CUZ IM MY OWN WOMAN ...
I will not let people tell me how I should feel
I wont let someone negative thoughts about me get to me.
I am my own woman and I can do ANYTHING!

I wont let the area which i live effect my personality.
People will say things to me not knowing that they are hurtful
But that wont get me down
Cuz Im my own woman and i set my own STANDARDS!

A person may not like the color of my skin but I will not
let it effect the soul that God has created.
Am I too dark?
Too Outspoken?
Too Real for them?
Am I too Tall?
Too fat?
Too emotional?
Yes Im all of these things but this wont bring me down.
Why?
Because Im My own woman,
I wont let a guy,
friend,
or family members
tell me what I am. This is who i am...

I am a dark chocolate God fearing sista who can speak proper and keep it 100
I am intouch wit my feelings but,
Dont get twisted
I will tell you how it is.

Lord, why did you call my aunt home?
Why has my heart stop beating?
Will I ever stop crying?
Will this pain ever stop?

Is true happiness in the future?
Will I ever smile again?
How can I survive through this?
